MPHS and WKG Joint Development Project 2025

13 February 2025 - Hulu Selangor : The joint development project between the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) and WorldKlang Group Development Sdn. Bhd. (WKG) was officially launched at a grand and memorable ceremony held at DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City. This milestone marks the collaborative effort to drive regional economic growth and improve community living standards in the respective area.
The ceremony was attended by a distinguished panel of guests, including Yang Berhormat Dato’ Ng Suee Lim, State Executive Councillor for Local Government and Tourism; YABhg Tun Arifin Zakaria, Chairman of WKG; Puan Julaihah Jamaludin, President of MPHS; Tuan Sha’Walludin Aziz, Deputy Director of the Selangor Local Authorities Section & Economy Planning Unit (UPEN); Raja Dato' Muzaffar bin Raja Redzwa, Orang Besar Daerah Hulu Selangor; YB Puan Pang Sock Tao, Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly for Kuala Kubu Baharu; Mr. Danny Ong, Founder & Director of WKG; Dr. Sathia Prakash Nadarajan, Coordinating Officer of the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat; as well as Tuan Saifuddin Shafi, Coordinating Officer of ADUN Batang Kali, alongside representatives from various government agencies.
This collaboration symbolizes a strategic alliance between the public and private sectors — aimed at energizing local commerce, addressing rising community demands by increasing various job opportunity, and improving regional quality of life.
